Pearls in Baroque is a platform for baroque music. Its aim is to bring musicians and listeners together and offer the audience a unique musical experience by compiling programs consisting of the best pieces performed best players.
On 12 June 2020 Pearls in Baroque organizes in the Kleine Zaal of the Concertgebouw two concerts of one hour each of Bach’s Sonatas for violin and cembalo, performed by baroque violinist and concertmaster of the Nederlandse Bachvereniging Sayuri Yamagata and cembalist and Pearls in Baroque initiator Noriko Amano. In November 2019 they recorded these pieces for a CD release.
