Autumn matinee with Bach and Vivaldi
Sunday 12 November 2023
14:15 h
Het Concertgebouw, Kleine zaal
This Sunday afternoon, let yourself be immersed musically and visually in the rich European court life of the early 18th century. Noriko Amano and the top musicians of Pearls in Baroque bring authentic performances in a regal atmosphere, including the Harpsichord Concerto in D minor by J.S. Bach and The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, with the virtuoso baroque violinist Ryo Terakado. But don’t close your eyes to the beautiful music, because there is also a lot to see, such as baroque dance from Versailles to L’Espagnole from Les Nations by F. Couperin by the 16-year-old Emily van Baaren who attended the National Ballet Academy. It promises to be an unforgettable afternoon!
